Horned grebe still present this morning, along with most of the regular
winter waterbirds. Nothing else unusual on the lake. I did find a Winter
Wren, hunting in the roots and rocks on the bank of Paint Branch near
its confluence with Indian Creek. Full list on ebird.

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!
