Subject: [AZNMbirds] WAZ: Lesser Black-backed Gull Bill Williams
This morning 12 Nov I found a juvenile LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL while scanning the Bill Williams arm of Lake Havasu from the Bill Williams River NWR HQ. The bird suddenly flew in and feed on a dead fish for a while before being flushed by a kayaker when it took off flying toward Havasu Springs and out of sight. It may stick around in which case Havasu Springs would be a good place to check along with scanning from the NWR HQ. Greater Scaup and Barrow's Goldeneyes have also arrived. Good birding.
