Subject: [cobirds] EARLY report of Bohemian waxwings in Ft. Collins (Larimer).
Are there any known or consistent areas of fruiting trees/shrubs in the area worth checking? Realizing that by nature the plants can be inconsistent and waxwings very nomadic, but thought it worth asking the group. Several years ago a friend found a relatively new neighborhood development in TX suburbia chock full of some type of small fruiting deciduous trees that hosted thousands of waxwings so it was a honey hole for a while.

Waxwings also seem to like Juniperus fruits iirc.

BOWA would be a lifer...

Good birding
