This morning at Northpoint (lakefront just north of Bradford Beach) there was a nice early group of northern waterfowl. I had all 3 Scoters (7 Surfs, 2 White-wingeds, and 8 Blacks), plus 3 Greater Scaups, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Buffleheads, and a Common Loon. Scope needed.

Extra hour of sleep!) The group usually assembles to the left (east) of the gas station/Arby's. Just look for a bunch of folks wearing binoculars and bundled up against the cold.
