Despite the cold windy morning (flurries at the house and mountains are white), great birding early this morning. An adult bald eagle and First of season tundra swans flew over the house and at a nearby set of ponds, along with nearly 250 Canada geese, were a snow goose, Am. wigeons, n shovelers, buffleheads, a lesser scaup, a Bonaparte’s gull, 3 ring-billed gulls, and a greater yellowlegs. The big storm yesterday really brought the water birds in.
