There has been a Northern Gannet at the Farallon Islands and nearby areas on the central California Coast for a few years. That's the only record of Northern Gannet in the Pacific that I'm aware of. Craig TumerPortland

Dorothy, Northern Gannet is a bird of the Atlantic Ocean. I don’t know if there are records from the Pacific Ocean. There are none in the records of the Oregon Bird Records Committee.
