There has been a Northern Gannet at the Farallon Islands and nearby areas
on the central California Coast for a few years. That's the only
record of Northern Gannet in the Pacific that I'm aware of. Craig

Dorothy, Northern Gannet is a bird of the Atlantic Ocean. I
don’t know if there are records from the Pacific Ocean. There
are none in the records of the Oregon Bird Records Committee. Paul

I just got a text from Kevin Yates. I had suggested he look
at Frigatebirds. He now says that is more like what he saw.
Somebody go find it. Paul Sullivan.
