Highlights from the North End: Scarlet Tanager (late-in-season seen well by most of the group), Yellow-rumped Warbler, Field Sparrow, Common Raven.

Canada Goose - 10 Reservoir (Bob - early)
Northern Shoveler - 2 Harlem Meer
Gadwall - 11 Pool
Mallard - 30
Bufflehead - male Harlem Meer
Ruddy Duck - female Harlem Meer
Mourning Dove - 3 to 5
Cooper's Hawk - adult female over Wildflower Meadow, later flying south
Red-tailed Hawk - 5 together over 5th Avenue & Harlem Meer
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 4
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - 3 (1 Meer Island, 2 Great Hill)
Downy Woodpecker - 3 (North Woods & Wildflower Meadow)
Northern Flicker - 2 (Meer Island & North Woods)
Eastern Phoebe - 2 Great Hill (Peter Haskel)
Blue Jay - 5
Crow species - 1 flying north over North Meadow Ball Fields
Common Raven - flying north over Conservatory Garden
House Wren - 1 Lasker Rink/Pool
Carolina Wren - heard calling Conservatory Garden
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 10-15
Hermit Thrush - 6
American Robin - 40-50
Gray Catbird - 6
Northern Mockingbird - 3 Conservatory Garden
Chipping Sparrow - 10-15 (3 Propagation Area, others at Great Hill)
Field sparrow - 1 Great Hill
White-throated Sparrow - 75-100
Dark-eyed Junco - 5-10
Eastern Towhee - 4 males
Common Grackle - flock of 25
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 2 (juv. Propagation Area, adult Great Hill (Vicki Seabrook))
Scarlet Tanager - female n. side Loch near bridge close to overlook (Nancy)
Northern Cardinal - 4
