Looking at eBird/Macaulay, Northern Shoveler x America Wigeon yields similar pictures, including a black bill with bleached-white edges.

American Wigeon x Northern Shoveler can have that moon and white cheek with green head. Flanks similar on both. Will need to look at Reeber again, that book has many options on hybrids.
