Subject: Erie County waterbird count for October 26, 2019
Date:  October 26, 2019Time:  0740 to1010Weather: Partly to mostly cloudy, NE wind to 10 mph, waves 1' to 2', temp. 48 FComments:  A few scaup moving as well as Double-crested Cormorants and Common Loons.  Buffleheads have started moving as well.  Ducks and loons were flying both east and west and cormorants were flying across the lake from Canada.  Unusual was seeing two Sharp-shinned Hawks crossing the lake from Canada.  The first time I have seen this happen for this species.  Jennifer Ferrick, Justin Berkheimer, and Chad Kauffman assisted with the count.
