group of 3-4 Wood ducks both male & female.. It was swimming in the pond
searching for food like the Wood Ducks It was visible for 5-8 minutes I
estimate then they all took cover in the reeds ."

- Comments: "We have a small hummingbird in our garden that is quite
different than our normal Anna's Hummingbirds. First, there is a very
slight wing trill when it flies. The birds description is a hummingbird
with a pale purple and blue gorget. The gorget wraps around the head and
has the appearance of a 'fu-manchu' mustache. There is a clean white chin
which wraps around the side of the bird. The breast is not mottled grey
like Anna's, but does have some green feathers on the sides of the breast.
There is a faint hint of tan also on the flank."
