An exciting day on the ridge which featured our
first TWO Northern Goshawks of the season as well
a few Golden Eagles and some nice diversity.
A BIG THANK YOU to our hardworking crew of
observers that are better known as the CP ELITE !
They are: Brian Butler, Al Ambler and Phil Rodriguez.
These 3 gentlemen give us great coverage during the
weekdays especially when the weather cooperates
and we know that raptors will be on the move!
Per Brian Butler- " A beautiful autumn day to
be up on 'Coon. A day that featured 2 Golden Eagles,
our first 2 Northern Goshawks, and a Gray Ghost.
But our Bird of the Day selection goes to the
female Northern Harrier that came in on the
river side of the ridge and FILLED OUR BINS !"

Non-raptor Observations:
TV's & BV's
Ravens- 15
Buckmoths
Also- 1 Peregrine and 8 Bald Eagles
seen but not counted as migrating.
