Many thanks to Birthday Boy- Patrick Keelen for conducting the count today
and to the hard working team of observers who did a great job as
always ! Takes a team to get this count done and we have a great team !
A pretty solid count day today but to be honest we were expecting a few
more birds under these conditions.
The Bird of the Day selection will incredibly go to a Black Vulture
that came in very tight to the ridge and appeared to actually
take a run at the owl decoy !!!! WHAT?!?!?!
That is a first for us for sure !!! Wish I would have seen that !

Non-raptor Observations:
Raven- Carrying a large red object in it's beak !
Blackbirds- hundreds
