Subject: [obol] From Rogue Valley Audubon to Sauvie Island
Yesterday five of us birded the island...nothing rare.
3 Barn Swallows. Large flock of YR Warblers, both types.
Thousands of Cacklers. Two thousand cranes. Two small flights of White
Pelicans. Zero shorebirds. Few ducks. Waxwings, winter sparrow flocks,
low water level in ponds and lakes.
We did not bird the bank of the Columbia on the east side of the island.
Many photos, esp. Cacklers and cranes.
