Subject: [southbaybirds] Sanborn County Park
Best birds this morning (10/9) in Sanborn County Park included a calling PILEATED WOODPECKER (called 3X West of the park before 9AM), several calling RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES (one actually seen, calling stopped at about 10AM), a well seen TOWNSEND'S WARBLER and a small flock of CEDAR WAXWINGS (mixed adults and juveniles). Unfortunately a couple nicely marked Warblers were not ID'd (quickly disappeared and not re-found).
Take care,
Bob Reiling
