Subject: [MDBirding] Washington Monument Hawk Watch
The [George] Washington Monument straddles the line between FR and WA...

Present:
Kurt...
John & his son [memory freeze prevents name recall]...
Paul Newton [compiler] and I saw one of the best recent days at the
site this afternoon.

I don't have detailed numbers, but in the ~2 hours i was there
numerous Sharpies passed as did one Kestrel, and two Peregrines.
Total birds were ~120 for the day.

This is a FEE site @ $2 per vehicle. The Federal Golden Age pass will
waive the fee as will a similar MD pass.
