Subject: [obol] Newport Orchard Oriole--Not Resighted Yet

Chuck Philo spent about an hour after 12 PM looking for the Orchard Oriole,
but did not find it.

The coordinates or the map in the eBird report that is at the bottom of
this email:

- Fall Street and 11th -Newport (44.63, -124.057), Lincoln, Oregon
- Map:,-124.0570742&ll=44.6303894,-124.0570742

Below is a screen capture of the eBird red balloon for the oriole at SW
Fall and SW 11th Street. Because both are streets with gaps, it can be
confusing to find this location. One way to find it would be from HWY 101
in SW Newport, turn onto SW Alder by the Pig 'N Pancake Restaurant,
continue to the end where it intersects with SW 11th street and go to end
where it ends at the junction with SW Fall Street. Another way is to come
up from the Bayfront

Chuck said one of the residents there had seen another birder come and
looked unsuccessfully before Chuck got there.
