The early evening saw Black-throated Green, Palm, and Yellow rump Warblers arrive to dine. Also, three generations of Eastern Bluebirds taking baths, and a Northern Flicker probing the ground. Quite a day.
And, less we forget, an adult Red-shouldered Hawk flew thru late afternoon on Oct. 2.
With the recent report about loss of species, we find that planting for wildlife, and providing water, do help those passing thru as well as the residents.
