Subject: [VA-bird] Dyke Marsh Walk for Sept 29
Eleven people joined me today for the weekly (except during the Christmas
Bird Count season) Sunday Dyke Marsh bird walk, free and open to all. It
was rather quiet today, with little on the river and almost as little on
Haul Road. A small flock of warblers following chickadees near the haul
Road entrance and a late Northern Waterthrush in the south picnic area were
the only highlight. At least the wind kept the mosquitos away.
