Wednesday, October 2, 2019, 8:00am-12:00pm. Bear Creek Nature Park. Leader: Don Burlett (<baikalteal13...>) Join us for this Wednesday morning Field trip at Bear Creek Nature Park located at 740 W Snell Rd, Rochester, MI 48306 (west off Orion Rd.). Meet at 8 am in the parking lot.
Saturday, October 5, 2019, 8:30am-12:00pm. University of Michigan Environmental Interpretive Center ~ Dearborn. Leader: Kathleen Dougherty ( <kad8186...>) This event is intended for Young Birders as well as adults. The Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) is the gateway to a 300 + acre natural area that provides opportunities to study birds and the importance of stopover habitat in a rapidly developing urban area. Plan to hike 1.5 miles and tour the EIC with a staff naturalist. Dress for the weather and bring your binoculars if you have them. Visitor parking is available at the Monteith Parking Structure (MPS), adjacent to the Center. There is no fee for the program.
