Subject: Sedge Wren at Prairie Ridge, Raleigh
Hi all, this morning I had a Sedge Wren in the goldenrod/blackberry
vegetation at Prairie Ridge Ecostation in west Raleigh. It was in the
section of prairie just west of the stand of pine trees and large brush
pile on the more northern side of the property, where most of the state
vehicles are parked. This is only my third record for the site, which I've
surveyed 10-12 times per month for 8+ years now. It was very close to the
same spot where I saw my last one in October 2016. Good birding, Brian
