Subject: [MDBirding] Little Bennett MOCO yesterday
I birded in Little Bennett RP yesterday morning. The local birds were all
represented, including families of White-breasted nuthatches, cardinals,
titmice, Carolina wrens and chickadees.

And also Blue jays, lots and lots of Blue jays. One family was harassing
(and being harassed by) a Sharp-shinned Hawk (immature). This 'battle'
lasted for several minutes, as the jays dove at the sitting hawk, which
would lift off, take a pass at one of the jays, then light further on.

Other highlights were a few Scarlet tanagers, a small group of
Yellow-rumped warblers, flocks of American robins and a young
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

Birds heard but unseen included lots of Grey catbirds and a Common Raven
