Subject: [sbcobirding] Blackburnian Warbler??
I had an odd bird in the backyard yesterday. Prominent black and yellow striping on its head—reminiscent of a Townsend’s—but with rust on it’s upper chest and not much streaking. It showed quite a bit of white on it’s wings in flight. Lazy for a warbler. Of the options I found on ibird it most resembled a worn Blackburnian male 4-summer”...
Seems pretty improbable but what else could it be?
