Subject: [slocobirding] White-crowned Sparrow
Had my first of season WCSP in the yard this morning, two adults of the
Pugatensis race. Since I've been keeping track starting in 2005, the first
sightings have ranged from the 11th to the 25th of September. The
Golden-crowned Sparrows have always been later than the WCs, with one
exception, when I saw both for the first time on the same day in 2010.

Of course, the birds could have arrived earlier without detection.
