Very pleasant warm day with clear visibility.
Almost all blue sky in AM increasing to 15% cloud cover late in day.
Winds out of the west aver velocity 3-4 mph.

Raptor Observations:
1129 migrating raptors.
21 Bald Eagles:all times EST - 9:20 Unk; 9:45 Unk; 10:47 Ad; 11:31 SubAd;
11:45 Unk; 11:55 juv; 12:17 Ad; 12:30 Ad; 12:35 SubAd; 12:38 Juv; 12:42

An interesting interaction between 2 bald eagles and an osprey at 3:04 PM
EST. An eagle was relentlessly attacking an osprey carrying a fish. After
several brushed and or close flybyes, the osprey dropped the fish. The
second eagle was lower and dove after the falling fish. The incident closed
with no fish recovery as it fell unclaimed to the ground below.


Non-raptor Observations:
15 ruby throated hummingbirds; 20+ cedar waxwings; chimney swifts; ravens.
Dragon flies- 176

Predictions:
High of 79 degrees;
Winds out of the west at 5-10 mph.
Clouds and breaks of sun.
Expect many more broad-winged hawks.
