Subject: Window strikes

Hi Everyone,

Have you seen any dead or injured birds near buildings on campus? For example, this hummingbird was found by Joe Verica yesterday (Sept 9th).

Most window strikes happen during migration, especially April-May and Sept-Oct, so now is the time to be looking.

If you see them, please help rescue the survivors and document the victims.

Instructions are how to do that can be found at this link<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZLLdnvdEozKEQeIMUWvGycHZK4Qifuhae1DFxg9tBvM/edit?usp=sharing>.

Or just contact me by email, <j99...>

If you would like to get involved in regularly surveying for window strike victims along the paths where you regularly walk on campus, or know other students/faculty who might be interested, please email me about that too.

Thank you,
Joe
