Winds light and variable. Overall warm day. Cloudy for the first few hours
so no flight. Then increasing sun until nearly completely blue skies before
clouding over again in the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
A decent flight during periods of sunshine. 10 ospreys and 9 bald eagles,
mostly very high in the early afternoon. 9 sharpies was the first decent
push of the season. Still not many broad-wings (4). A pair of merlins put
on an excellent show for an extended period in the late afternoon, catching
green darners and flying extremely close to us.

Non-raptor Observations:
12 common nighthawks, 2 lesser yellowlegs, warbling vireo, common raven, 2
brown-headed cowbirds, 3 American redstarts, 2 Cape May warblers,
chestnut-sided warbler, Canada warbler, 16 monarchs, 100+ spotted
lanternflies flying high in the sky (first time seeing so many here).
