Weather: Chilly with strong E wind (14-25) mph. Mostly cloudy with a high of 16.9.
Raptor Observations: Bald Eagles seen were Ad 1:41, Ad 2:43, J 2:43, J 3:12, AD 3:34, Sub (3rd yr) 3:49, Ad 3:57, Ad 4:21, Sub (3rd yr) 5:03, Ad 5:04, J 5:04, Ad 5:06, J 5:10, Sub (4th yr) 5:12, Ad 5:15, Ad 5:16, Ad 5:17, Ad 5:23. All the eagles were Low or very Low and directly overhead or just off the escarpment to the east. Most of the other raptors were fairly low and include Broadwings, Red-tailed Hawks, Sharp Shinned, Northern Harriers, American Kestrels, and Osprey. There were also 4 non-migrating Red-tails, 1 non-migrating Black Vulture, 7 non-migrating Turkey Vultures, 2 non-migrating Kestrels, 4 non-migrating Broadwings.
Non-raptor Observations: There were very many Chimney Swifts throughout the day ( probably more than 100) as well as Cedar Waxwings, Ravens, Blue Jays, Tree Swallows, Downy Woodpecker, Mourning Dove, and Chipping Sparrows.
