Subject: IBET Warblers at Cermak Woods
I went to Cermak Woods Forest Preserve (west side of Desplaines
River, south side of Ogden Rd. in Lyons) this AM. I had my first hit of
migrant warblers of the fall among my 35 species. 4 warbler species: 2
Tennessees, 1 Nashville, 2 Cape Mays and an American Redstart. Besides the
warblers, the most interesting birds were a Orchard Oriole and 3 Eurasian
Collared Doves.
