Subject: Re: [birders] Chimney swift roost
The roost at 415 W. Washington was in use by the Swifts 2-3 weeks ago, in
great numbers. It seems the birds switched their roost to 113 E. Liberty
for the Swift Nights Out celebration, just a couple blocks away.
The building is still standing and the City is looking into proposals for
development, and intends to leave the chimney standing. The swifts will be
back this year, or next!
Thanks!
