Yes to the Red Belly. I have one visiting the feeder by himself now after coming with dad to learn how to eat peanut butter and suet. Could the feather be from one?

External Email - Use Caution
The bird is a juvenile Red-bellied Woodpecker. Too young to be showing any red on the head and nape just yet.

It's been a while so I have a few (probably stupid) questions. I found this feather laying on the ground outside of my car in the parking lot the other day. It's about 14 inches long. Any idea what bird it belonged to?

Also, I captured this bird yesterday. I think it to be a Flicker. Can someone confirm this?

Assistance is greatly appreciated.
Denise
