More grasshoppers than people on tower even though
there were plenty of hikers. One guy was collecting
grasshoppers.....perhaps a fisherman?


Weather:
68 F to 85 F. Estimate Wind SW 8 mph dropping to
3 by 10 am. Hazy with Boston barely visible but Monadnock quite visible.
Sunny and very few cirrus -like clouds.

Raptor Observations:
Migrants, per trusted observer Bill Rasku: "I pitched a shut out today. No
migrants."

Locals: Cooper's Hawk, adult Broad-winged hawk, 7 TVs.
3 unidentified Buteos.

Non-raptor Observations:
9 Common Ravens, 1 Cedar Waxwing, 1 Towhee, 1 Blue Jay, 1 Chickadee, 4
Chimney Swifts, 2 Tree Swallows.

Predictions:
Sunny, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind becoming southwest
around 5 mph in the afternoon.
