- Checklist: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S58896907
- Comments: "First saw 1 flying up creek at around 5:10. About 5 minutes
later 2 came low up creek providing great views. Several minutes later
another was seen further out. Although there was maybe more than 2 birds,
it is probably best to count only 2 as these birds could have looped
around. Large all dark swifts with long, angular wings and obvious tails.
Noticeably slower and more powerful wingbeats than Vaux's. It was overcast
with low-hanging fog drifting around the valley which is probably why we
saw these birds early in the evening. Life bird for all of us!"
