Subject: IBET Fw: [eBird Alert] ABA Rarities
Greetings IBET friends:
Not sure if this is allowed, but I'm forwarding the eBird alert for ABA Rarities.
Of note, LITTLE STINT accepted in California, found by Paul Lehman, big-time, well-known, well-respected NA birder. I've met Paul and he's super good, super nice guy, super careful with his ID's.
Check it out. The photos attached to the checklists sure look like the bird I found at Emiquon, South Globe yesterday (and seen by many today at the North Globe Unit at Emiquon), although, the Emiquon bird had a little more coppery-orange plumage than the California bird. Could be lighting, distance and/or a combination.
Enjoy!
