Subject: [obol] Dead bird on beach id & LB Curlew today Nehalem Bay State Park
Hi all,

Today there was a juvenile Long-billed Curlew on the spit at Nehalem Bay
State Park. Also there are Wandering Tattlers regularly found on the north
jetty of the Nehalem River including at least one today. In addition there
were multiple Common Murre chicks with parents in the mouth of the Nehalem
River and hearing them calling was a treat! Some videos and pics are on my
Flickr page.

I found this dead black and white feathered large bird with black feet that
seem like they could belong to a Skua or Jaeger ?? today on the beach at
the high tide line. The head was missing. Pics are on Flickr. Any
