Hi, on friday we went there in the late afternoon and there were scads of Brown Pelicans, well over 100, resting on the western side of the landlocked estuary...with flights still coming in.Three Great Egrets, (no scope) but also seen were Ruddies with diving babies, a GBH, Mallards, a few Cormorants. Something alerted the Pelicans and they all took off and relanded, quite a sight to see.Ken Hoesterey
