Subject: [sbcobirding] UCSB Shorebirds
I was on the monthly UCSB Lagoon survey this morning.

4 sharp-looking and vocal Greater well Yellowlegs in the lagoon near the UCEN.

Despite low tide and light foot traffic, no shorebirds on the eastern beach or campus point.

To the west of Campus Point, near where the lagoon outflow presently is, about 50 peeps, ~30 Western Sandpipers and ~10 each Least Sandpipers and Semipalmated Plovers.
