At about 2:00 PM today, there were at least two pairs of Marbled Murrelets at Browns Point Lighthouse Park in Pierce County. One pair was close to shore and I even had one of them and a Pigeon Guillemot in my binocular view at the same time! Caspian Terns were patrolling back and forth and a pod of Dall Porpoises was heading into Commencement Bay. Also seen was a Bald Eagle, Great Blue Heron and Glaucous-winged Gulls and Double-crested Cormorants.
