Yes, it's completely normal. After the babies hatch, the orioles disappear from the feeders for a bit. They are focused on bugs and such for protein. Once they leave the nest, the dad's teach the fledges how to feed at the feeders. We've got literally dozens of fledges this year. Love the sight of them all at the feeders, up to 10 or more at one time!
