Still in same willow patch at Millicoma Marsh singing away hoping today
will be his lucky day?
Low fog ceiling with lots of loud, calling Purple Martins right overhead.
The dawn chorus is impressive with oodles of Swainson’s Thrushes too.
Warblers included: yellowthroat (many), Orange-crowned, Wilson’s, Yellow
(3), and three BT Grays. Warbling Vireos, Pac-slope Fly, and BH Grosbeaks
also singing in good numbers. The mosquitoes were out in force which kept
us moving fast on our mile and a half loop. Many nutria out early also.
