Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday May 16. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at
503-233-3976.

Heavy migrations continued through the week especially warblers and other
insect eating birds. A group of eight Black Swifts were south of Siletz Bay
May 10. A male Hood Warbler was at Willamette Park in Corvallis ay 13. A
Bank Swallow was among a flock of Barn Swallows in Florence May 12.

On May 10 a Franklinıs Gull was at Lincoln City.

On May 15 two canada jays were near Newton Road in Portlandıs Forest Park. A
Clarkıs Grebe was seen May 14 at the Tualatin River NWR. A Blue-gray
gnatcatcher was photographed May 11 in Corvallis. On May 11 a Lark Sparrow
was seen at the Lava Lake Eno-Park along Hwy 20 in Linn County.

Among the migrants at the Headquarters of Malheur NWR May 9 was a singing
Tennessee Warbler.
