Today was the busiest day at the station so far this season. The highlight
of the day was a Second Year Female Northern Parula. We banded a total of
65 birds of 22 species:

Wilson's Warbler: 4
Northern Parula: 1
"Traill's" Flycatcher: 1
Yellow Warbler: 5
MacGillivray's Warbler: 4
Common Yellowthroat: 3
Least Flycatcher: 1
Western Wood-Pewee: 1
Yellow-rumped "Audubon's" Warbler: 1
Lincoln's Sparrow: 11
Ovenbird: 1
Swainson's Thrush: 8
Yellow-breasted Chat: 2
Eastern Kingbird: 2
Hermit Thrush: 1
Brown-headed Cowbird: 1
"Gambel's" White-crowned Sparrow: 1
Gray Catbird: 4
Bullock's Oriole: 8
Western Kingbird: 1
Brown Thrasher: 2
Blue Jay: 1

We are open 6 days a week (closed Sundays), weather permitting. This week
we'll be opening nets around 6:10 and closing around 11:10.
