I finally got back out to Franke Park again this morning to do some birding. I didn't see any Mississippi Kites, but I did manage a decent list of 50 species, including 11 species of Warblers, and a few more FOY birds. What surprised me was that I had a complete miss on Baltimore Orioles. We've had six of them frequenting our yard for the past week or two.
