Subject: [ND-BIRDS] FOS birds
This AM while sitting in our sun porch, I was treated to our first
Hummingbird, first Baltimore Oriole and Wren of the season. Harris
sparrows still present, clay colored and chipping. Many Robins, goldfinch,
Rose-breasted Grosbeak and regulars.
We used to have numerous Tree swallows in our bb boxes but down to 2-3 pair
and 2-3 BB pairs.
Phone call from a friend who has a Scarlet Tanager in her bird bath. I
have not seen one in Minot b/4.
Wish I could join you for the spring meeting but just memories of previous
years.
The best medicine in the entire world sitting here listening to all the
great bird songs.
Good birding!
