Subject: [CT Birds] Sherwood Island State Park - 86 species this morning
Warbler species were low as expected due to the recent and current weather conditions. But I had some nice surprises including a Sora flushed from the edge of the model airplane field, continuing Bobolinks(male & female),5 flyby Red-throated Loons, and a nice variety of sparrows including Chipping,Savannah,Grasshopper,
Saltmarsh,Seaside,Song,Lincoln’s,
Swamp, and White-throated. My eBird list is below.
