Subject: [CT Birds] New London Cape May
At Riverside Park in New London, one adult male Cape May Warbler singing at the hilltop, among more common and expected migrants.
Although this park is relatively small, it seems like it might have good potential as migrant trap: a lot of native trees (although A LOT more nonnative plants in the understory- Knotweed City) surrounded by development and the Thames River, of which there is a nice view. I'll try birding there a few more mornings to get a better average!
