Subject: [CT Birds] Good migration at Trout Brook Preserve (Easton)
Migrants were scattered throughout Trout Brook Preserve today, with the
best birds being in the first clearing off the white trail from Bradley
Road entrance. Highlights included Blackburnian, Blackpoll, Wilson's (all
in clearing), Bay-breasted (Popp Mountain Trail), and Hooded (Jump Hill).
A Lincoln's Sparrow in the orchard was a nice surprise (northern hedgerow),
as were 30+ Bobolinks.
