Got out about noon today. Stunningly beautiful weather with little wind
for the first day of the Loess Hills Audubon Bird-A-Thon.. Birds were hard
to come by with most of the waterfowl numbers down and many of the species
we had here Tues and wed were "out of here"! Warblers were had been great
were down to 5 species and only 13 total. Total for the day 84 species

First of the Year species, American Bittern 3, Marbled 1 and Hudsonian 3
