Ted Floyd, born and raised in Pittsburgh and an internationally recognizedbirding expert, will be visiting his hometown and will lead an outing forus on Saturday, May 11, at Frick Park. Meet him at 9:00 AM at the FrickEnvironmental Center, 2005 Beechwood Boulevard in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. Ted, a Three Rivers Birding Club charter member, is the author of five books and more than 200 popular articles, technical papers, and book chapters on birds andnature. His books include the Smithsonian Field Guide to the Birds of NorthAmerica and How to Know the Birds, just published in March 2019.
