Subject: [CT Birds] Bolton Notch SP- Prothonotary Warbler etc.
Great birding day at Bolton Notch State Park (spent about 6 hours there), with 60 species seen, including 17 warbler species, with 1 Prothonotary Warbler in the mix. The Prothonotary was seen in the marshy areas along both sides of the trail beyond the old drive-in theater. It was very skittish and flighty in the scrubby understory, but did offer a few good looks. Other migrant highlights as follows:
