Subject: [CT Birds] Trout Brook Hooded Warbler +
There was a fairly good migration at Trout Brook Valley Preserve (Easton) today. I’m not sure whether most were still grounded from the good flight two days ago or new arrivals pushed down by the rain and fog. 19 sp. warblers included Prairie, HOODED (both in clearing off white trail), and Nashville (orchard). White-eyed Vireo, Pine Siskin, Least Flycatcher and White-crowned Sparrow were in orchard. A Winter Wren appears to be on territory on Pink Trail. Blue-headed Vireos and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks were all over the place. Joined by Rachel Kennealy part of the morning.
